Our annual Diwali assembly was absolutely amazing with the students dressed in their beautiful and vibrant outfits performing their dances. We were also entertained with stories of how Diwali began and we were treated to a very special dance number performed by one of our special guests (Mrs Anand's friend). Thank you very much to all the amazing teachers and students who made this a very exciting and memorable cultural experience!
Maths
We have been working in groups to solve multiplication and division word problems. Here are some of our pics showing how we are collaborating and sharing how we solved our problems with the larger group.
Basketball
This week we had our basketball session with Coach Adrian and we played several games which enabled us to learn some valuable skills. We played a game identifying the different areas of the court and also a game to help us with shooting the ball into the hoop. Again we had another amazing time and we are looking forward to our next session!
