Year 5 E.O.T.C Week: Day 4

On the last day for our E.O.T.C week we cleaned up our school environment and worked on some mural designs for our school. After all that hard work we made some yummy hamburgers with the works for lunch. To end the perfect week, we had a special movie in the hall with popcorn and ice-blocks. What an amazing time we have had!

                                                              

Year 5 E.O.T.C Week: Day 3

On Day 3 we started off our fantastic day with our swim in the pool followed by a movie, landscape art and a game of T-ball. We also had delicious pizza lunch! Here are our pics of Day 3...

Year 5 E.O.T.C Week: Day 2

On Day 2 we went on a special trip to the Stardome Observatory to complete our Planet Earth and Beyond topic this term.  Thank you to all the amazing whanau helpers that came along to support our team and to make this trip possible. We had a super exciting time in the Stardome with Jeff who was our school educator. He did a space information session in one of the classrooms, gave us a quick quiz to do in our groups in the foyer, before we watched the show in the Planetarium called 'The Secret of the Cardboard Rocket'. What an incredible experience it was for everyone and we definitely learnt a lot about space. Here are some our pics......

Year 5 E.O.T.C Week: Day 1

With the Year 6 students in our team away on camp at Willow Park, the year 5 E.O.T.C week had begun with some amazing activities. We started off our day with different rotations- Rock climbing, basketball and space study activities. For lunch we also got to make our own healthy sandwiches...mmm yum!
